There are some times when there are other things I want or need to do rather than breastfeeding. It can be challenging to breastfeed in presence when the mind is elsewhere. This is a meditation to bring you back into your body as you nurse your child.
As you nurse your baby, bring your attention to your breath. The breath is your key to this moment. Notice how you breath in and out, regardless of what is on your mind.
Now introduce the mantra 'now here'. As you breath in say 'now' and as you breath out say 'here'. You can repeat this silently or gently say it.
You may find that your body slowly releases tension until you feel at ease in this moment.
Become aware that regardless of where your mind is, you are here feeding your baby.
Be here now.
